• Doe Run Resources' and The Renco Group Inc.'s US$ 300 million investment for the acquisition of the Refinery and Smelter of La Oroya (formerly Centromín).
• Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A.´s US$22 million investment in the insurance sector.
• Sodak´s (South Dakota Corporation) US$15 million investment in the casino and slot-machine industry.
• Bavaria S.A.'s US$ 1,000 million investment in the acquisition of shares of Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus & Johnston, the largest Peruvian brewery which led such investor to take control of the latter company.

In fact, through these Agreements, foreign Investors are ensured, among other benefits, the free movement of capital, interests, and earnings in addition to free exchange of foreign currency and non-discrimination in favor of local companies. Likewise, domestic companies receiving the investments secure legal stability of tax, labor, and customs regimes applicable at the time the investment is made.
